Problem: Bug
Region: US - Server 2509
I have 2 Xboxes at home. When I switch between systems I can’t seem to log into my server on the second system. In the afternoon I play in one room, in the evening I play in the other. I can’t seem to figure out how to get the server to realize I’m on a new system. I should note that I can’t get back into the same server. I can log into single player and other servers.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
- Have 2 xboxes on same network
- Login to server on 1 xbox
- Logout and shut down xbox
- Boot up 2nd xbox and attempt to login.
This does not work on xbox.
Not even the offline coop variant works.
for xbox there are no private Servers possible (except the expensive ones from G-Portal)
On PC you can Setup a Server in LAN, as the Software is free available. Not on Xbox.
Your only chance to play with 2 Xboxes is to start the game on both (for discs you need 2 licenses and both maxchines need Access to Gold life). It can be figured out well with Family Settings. Not sure if this helps, but your first Report can only be answered with : No, it is not possible to play conan exiles via lan with one set up as server.
Sorry, I think my original message is confusing maybe? I’m not looking to play the game on both systems at the same time. All I’m trying to do is switch from one Xbox to another depending on when I’m playing. I know it’s worked because I’ve played on both systems previously in a given day.
It seems like the server locks me in on one Xbox, maybe based on IP, and if I attempt to sign in on my other Xbox, again at a different time, it won’t let me.
I appreciate the reply though. Based on what you’re saying I have been able to run my license of CE on 2 systems at the same time, but with different Xbox Live Accounts. Not my goal, more like I just want a friend to play.
Ok, maybe I misunderstood in the first try - not native english 
I am playing from time to time on different Xboxes, no Problem. maybe, you have to clean up on one System the save data, so that the game can resync the Xboxes again ? Only an idea what could cause this.
Any error messages / logs?
@ZevLexx - Yeah I tried wiping the cache, deleting save files, etc. and still no luck. 
@TheLOLxd2 - Unfortunately on Xbox I can’t get any log files I know of. All that happens is I’m booted to the server select screen and the pop-up message says “Cannot connect to Game Server. It may be offline. Press X to dismiss or A to report official game server”. Which of course I report it with the official tool but I’m never sure it’s ever reset unless there is lag or the server is officially offline.
sounds like a firewall problem. try to change the port settings on one of your xboxes. maybe your router blocks the second xbox here. on my router i found, that the routing to the xbox can be stored for a while. if you see the port routed to the adress of your first xbox here, the connection to the second one will not work for all services if the same port is used on the second box.
I have different ports on my xboxes. you should also check what the NAT setting says on the xbox that does not work correct.
