A couple of minor bugs (journey and construction selection menu)

Already reported on helpshift, just including here for ease of reference.

Minor bugs with Journey system -
out of nowhere today I completed the ‘Island Survivor’ journey - except I haven’t visited the island, haven’t left the Exiled LAnds at all, and completed the basic ‘Survivor’ journey quite some time ago. It’s now marked up a second completed copy of ‘Survival Shelter’ on my journey list. It has also added the ‘Travel to the Exiled Lands’ journey as one for me to fulfill, but there’s no sign of a ‘Travel to Isle of Siptah’ journey, which woul dbe more relevant since I haven’t gone there yet so it would be hard for me to travel back from there…
As I say, all minor stuff, but just seems a bit wonky.

Construction menu bug -
When I select anything from the construction menu (holding hammer - build pieces, workstations, decorations, whatever) I used to be able to click the item I want, exit the menu and be able to build that piece - now if I do it that way it reverts to the previous selection. Now I have to double click, which selects the piece and closes the menu (and if I go too fast also builds it in the wrong place, but if I go too slow it doesn’t register it at all and again reverts back to the previous selection…).

This seems to be a change since the latest hotfix. (1.1.1 May 27th)

This is 100% working as it should, can every single time select something then exit the menu, and it remembers the last item?

Yeah - it looks like you’re just single-clicking the item, right? That’s not the way it’s working for me right now. If I single-click, then it just ignores the selection and goes back to whatever was previously selected. Only when I double click does it actually change the selection to the new choice.
Are you on a server or singleplayer?

On an official server and yes only single click

Then that is most likely the difference - I am experiencing the problem in singleplayer. That helps narrow it down a bit, thanks.

This is yet another problem with the new way of reporting bugs - when we reported them here, this sort of information was automatically added to the bug report by us discussing it on the bug report. With the new system I’m going to have to report this again, in order to give them the additional information that the problem seemingly only occurs in singleplayer and does not occur on officials, which is a minor waste of my time (no big issue) but also clogs their system with unnecessary duplicate reports.

Think I’ll leave it till tomorrow, in case anything else comes up and then make a short video showing the problem from my end.

Well, balls - this is even less consistent. It’s still doing it in my actual game (singleplayer, unmodded), just put together a test save with exactly the same settings and it’s behaving properly there, single-click selects the desired object nad closes the menu. Went back to my main game and it’s still not working. I’m at a loss. I can’t see how there can be anything different - same machine, same settings, not the same behaviour.
