A little self promotion - My latest mod - Limestone Buildings - A Greek Server Mod

You know, sometimes, you work for over a week on something non stop, you just wanna talk about it ya know?

Designing this mod made me have to learn a lot about UE4, and honestly that’s a great thing and it was a lot of fun. But man was it difficult. I’m sure there are those of you out there who could have done this in half a day or something, but I spent probably between 30-40 hours on this.

The backstory of this mod is a friend of mine wanted me to design a “Limestone” based building, using existing 3D meshes and new textures. Sure, I thought, easy peasy. I didn’t realize what kind of project I just committed myself to, but once I start something and say I’m going to do it, I do it. No exceptions.

Anyways, after so much freaken work, it is finally done and I wanted to show it to people. I know that other mods out there (well only 1 that I know of and its part of a MUCH larger pack of all sorts of stuff) have a “white” building version also, but I thought for what we did, it turned out really really well.

Here it is, in all of it’s shinyness glory!.

That’s pretty neat. Well done. More (cosmetic) variety in building options is always great!

It looks great, congratulations!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it so far; Limestone blocks really adds a lot of diversity to existing build options. Good job!

This is a cool looking mod. Well done!

It’s not just lower-impact in certain areas where the natural stone is grey, it’s better camouflage. A great offense starts with a solid defense, so super-nice for this PVP player too! Great job.

Thanks Jens! Appreciate the shout out on the community stream too! (Just watched it, sorry I missed it, I forgot!)
