Think about it, that would alleviate like 98% of the “thrall won’t do anything after switching weapons” posts with a much simpler solution than actually having to figure out the problem.
There’s a 2h hammer and a mace that just stuns thralls, or you can add a blunted upgrade to a 2 handed weapon.
Although this is true, the last time I tried this, even a wooden practice two-hander caused too much damage compared to stun damage; my thrall ended up killing his targets.
I’ve seen someone suggest a quarterstaff as a “two-handed truncheon”, which sounds like a good idea. It could use the old spear swing animations, so it’d not be a massive drain on developer resources.
