I assume you didn’t know chess:
Chess is played with 16 white and 16 black chess pieces (32 at all, just in case you aren’t into math, too).

If there are only 29 placeables, there are two option:

  1. FC offers just a incomplete chess game with this DLC (the missing 3 chess pieces and the board will be part of the next DLC)
  2. All chess pieces are counting as one placeable.

What do you think , what option is the right one?

Technically, it could be 13 of the 29. Chess has replicated pieces , and probably count as 1 place able each.

Rooks–2
Bishops–2
Queen
King
That is 6 place ables, x 2 if we count clor as a different place able, so (12). board would be 13th. so not wrong in asking that question.

Good point. In this case 14 pieces for chess, because in the stream there were two different type of chess boards.

We can count the placeables on the stream, there are 29 if we count the chess pieces as a single placeable. Namely 26 placeables, 2 chess boards and a set of pieces.

I love what I saw of the DLC’s content, but agree with the sentiment that the name is off, and would likely preempt a proper Derketo DLC from ever being marketed. I’d go with Sinners’ Shoreleave, Buccaneers’ Bounty, Pirates’ Booty, or something a bit more generic and fitting the actual content.

To tell the truth i wouldn’t want just a derketo only dlc pack but would be pleased if they did packs with major and minor gods in them so they can expand on most of the world ingame

Glad to see a poll put up for this! Like I’ve said on one of the other threads for this topic, I really like the content of the DLC and it truly is the IKEA decor expansion I’ve dreamed of this game getting but the name just misses the mark. I’d kill for a Derketo DLC further down the line that incorporates more of the duality of the religion in theme along with the style associated with it.

Well, it does come with a pair of extra-tight trousers. I’m totally going to wrap some of my pirates’ booties in them.

The “treasure chest” would be the bling bikini top also included in the DLC, right?

Yeah just downloaded it and looked at it… nothing really could be in there that is just derketo, could of just been Ishtar as simular god to derketo

I’ll do my part to think of it as the Blessings of Crom DLC: Many glories and pleasures can be won in life, but none by the vanity of Crom’s name.

Look at Derketos both hands :smiley: The death is mostly represented by 1 or 2 snakes… sneks away

In the lore i know that derketo is sets ■■■■■ but then again that does not mean that followers of Derketo use snakes as there imagery

You missed the part after that “Her sacred symbols are the gazelle, the lion and the star.”
The symbol of the snake itself is for set.
The derketo there is more the lemurian view of her not how she is worshipped outside in the other lands of stygia, shem and others. They have there own views of the goddess and would make there idols and icons more according to what they know not what lemurians that they have only incountered in the exiled lands view of derketo
