Accuracy perk 40 not working as it should on official servers

Game mode: Online, PvP Server
Problem: Bug
Region: EU

The accuracy perk that gives 30% armor penetration does not work as intended. On offline I tested a build 40 str and 31 acc plus 9 from armor. The damage one shots thralls in new asagarth.

Online however in an official server with the same build and weapon that i used on offline, it won’t one shot a level 1 Fighter which makes me believe that something is off with the penetration system on a server.

Is this intended? Or is the perk simply bugged out?

Would appreciate an answer. Because it’s weird that it one shots thralls in offline mode but not in an official server.

I’m not affiliated with Funcom in any way, I’m just being curious:

Did you compare the server settings to your offline settings? (damage multipliers, etc.)
How many NPCs did you test it on? (i.e. can you consistently one-shot a T1 fighter every time? most of the times?)
Were you using the same arrows, too?
Were you aiming at the same body part?

Server settings could be different. Best way is to do a test on official. Their would be noticeable difference of health bar damage. Shoot a T1 with 1 arrow. Then remove armor and shoot it again. visually see if their is a noticeable difference. I do believe the perk was bugged at one time. Do not know if it was fixed. The armor pen in general with bows was the bug if i remember.

Yeah that’s what I’m wondering too.

Will check on it now so I have the same exact values as the official but i didn’t touch the settings at all. Gonna update on the matter soon.

I had a small issue where i had the settings to 1.5 multiplier damage i changed it back to 1.0.

I can one shot everything except a fighter 2-3 (Offline)

(Online) I can one shot everything there too except fighters 2-3 now but i still had an issue in the beginning where it did’nt work at all against fighters 1 when i had the multiplier on offline to 1.5x. Maybe the offline 1.5x affected online somehow i don’t know?

The issue is fixed now.

Someone should still check if something offline affects online.

That still does not make any sense since the fighter 1 had around 5% hp left on official but when i switched offline 1.5x dmg to 1.0 and then went back into online pvp the fighter 1 died instantly. Don’t know if the server bugged out.

Are you using the exact same equipment on each server. Different Bows and Arrows will have different damages. Also if you are just a little off on your shot it could also effect the damage dealt to your target hitting them in the neck versus hitting them in the head. Also if you are performing a heavy shot the timing could play a roll as well. If you charge the shot for to long it will lose power.

After several testings with different weapons, the perk really loses it’s effect on thralls after 1. The thralls respawn or 2. When you use different weapons the perk somehow bugs out and nerfs the dmg. This is really inconsistent. If someone can re-do my steps and check if that’s the case i would appreciate it.

(Offline check, Have settings like the official pvp server) (New Asagarth)

Have 40 str and 31 acc then plus 9 by armor (Like the flawless pictish wizard DLC)
Use Blade of adventurer and give it master weapon fitting
Use the slam attack with L2 and see if you can one shot thralls up to fighter 1. Fighter 2 and 3 don’t work and named thralls. If that works good.
Spawn up several weapons and give them weapon fitting, fence fitting
Use the weapons you spawned
After you used around 5 weapons go back to blade of adventurer and use L2 attack if you can one shot everything then it’s not bugged. If you can’t then something is wrong with the perk or it’s a bug.

yeah it’s no bow usage involved, it’s something inconsistent happening with the damage after i tried out several ones. I’m also switching weapons online so i figured out there might be a bug with the perk if you switch too often. Need someone else to confirm.
