i want to petition funcom and the community to add player names back to the event log on official servers. the most important reason being that hackers and players being able to mesh through bases and steal everything thats not in a chest. these cheaters have complete immunity if you dont catch them in the act.(due to the event log no longer providing names of your raiders). adding the player names back would allow people to report meshers vacumming bases. the cheaters shouldnt be able to have anonymous cover.
I agree so much with what you are saying.
I can live with unstability, bad performance etc, but not being able to see who raids me is a deal breaker.
Like you are saying this really protect cheaters, I really don’t understand why user-names where removed from event logs… hope it is not some stupid GDPR stuff…
I totally agree with this. Especially with purge griefers, having the names would help a lot
if they bring names back then funcom would have to deal with tickets that have proof of a username cheating with exact timestamps, and helpshift HATES doing work or handling tickets. 99% sure they made it anonymous to reduce the amount of tickets they get.
