To combine old and the new Purge would have been perfection.
In the old purge the first wave, or couple of first waves could have been simply waited out. You had to do nothing, just wait for the timer to run out and purge was finished.
Often the Old Purge just wandered around near your base and if you did not go to them to catch aggro, the timer would just run out - purge finished.
The actions counter was adding a lot of atmosphere to Exiled Lands, my base is spotted, the meter is almost full, I have to get ready, they will come soon… It was cool.
My vision (I know it’s not going to happen, I’ve been here long enough):
- bring back the actions counter from Old Purge
- leave the camp spawning and waves rushing towards our base from the New Purge
- make the purge diverse, like the Old Purge was, Stygian army can be reserved for higher levels, and bring nicely equipped and trained professional units
- make the purge target the coffer as in the New Purge, but let it destroy anything in the way in the process like in the Old Purge.
Here, purge fixed + bring back the toggle to switch off the purge in solo/private servers, so builders and little girls won’t cry.
