Admin-spawned NPC mob despawn conditions and/or timer

I’ve been thinking of making some small watchtowers and campsites on my private server for some Isle of Siptah NPCs and thralls on the Exiled Lands. If i were to spawn in some NPCs somewhere far out of rendering range in low traffic areas, will they stay spawned in and not ‘decay’ until the next server restart or could they possibly despawn sooner than that?

Also, anyone know how often G-Portal’s console private servers perform restarts / maintenance, with the abovementioned in mind?

Depends if the decay timer is on and if you have them marked as spawn as thralls

I’m planning to have them roam a small area as hostile NPCs, not as a thrall belonging to a player or admin.

I’ve been meaning to test it out, but am still mid-tweaking server settings so i’ve had to restart and undo whatever i spawned in several times.
Going to spawn some in tomorrow night i think and see what happens over the course of the coming days/week. No decay timers whatsoever, by the way.

They will despawn on server restart

You can adjust times and frequency of restart on Gportal site. @Catastrofus
