Well, fragments weren’t available to begin with, it got added a year or two into the game’s lifecycle, and it takes quite a while for a normal/casual player to get enough fragments to learn everything.
That said, it’s kinda pathetic how this item keeps breaking people’s characters. I’m wise (or wizened, take your pick!) enough to know not to use it, but most people aren’t going to come to the forums to check. Not until their characters are already affected, anyway. Nor should they need to.
Just remove it from the game already. Yeah it serves an important function of cheap resetting prior to people getting access to Raw Ash, but if you can’t fix it, it serves no (good) function at all.
I work 6-7 days a week 10-12 hour days…i can hit level 60 in like 2 days still and can get fragments easily. And I’ve been playing since beta. But this isn’t beta days anymore…my point again is why even reset feats when it’s not needed to anymore at this point in time. I literally last night just did the summoning pools again and got 2 tablets and 26 fragments for about 10 battles in about 30 minutes. If playing for 30ish minutes isn’t casual enough to get them then people may be playing the wrong game or unfortunately might just not be that good at the game. That’s not meant to be an insult. Just saying.
You’re either exaggerating, playing on non-standard settings or supremely skilled and lucky. In any event, no 26 fragments in 30 minutes is in no way normal.
I play on an official server with my wife. We are extremely limited on time of game play with our work schedules. Where as she may not be able to do some of these things on her own i havent had issues with doing them. Nothing exaggerated about it. Took two handful of statues in…kill things…collect goods…rinse and repeat. I’d like to think I’m great at games after playing them for the past 30+ years growing up with Atari and everything since but i still die and get frustrated so must not be that great. Heck i wanted to play for an hour right now before going to work but my server is once again down and not showing up on the list so looks like I’ll have to wait til 3-5 am now when i get home. But then server restarts at 5am and has been taking 45 minutes to come back. That’s more frustrating to me then anything.
I’ll have to go collect some statues again and can do a live stream or something. Wanna make note we did 4 tcho tcho’s, 2 migos, 2 silent legions, and a giant king statue so it was 9 pools.
Ah this is all on Siptah? yeah I have no idea how things work over there. That might explain the difference in experience because I am having a hard time seeing anywhere near that collection rate in Exiled Lands
Also be advised the tcho tchos are easy to do…5 of them each fight and everyone of them dropped a fragment so that was 20 right there but the tcho tcho coin of friendship that gives you a tcho tcho dont seem to be working…wasted like 3 of them trying when using them.
Yes siptah, if your on exiled lands then just go learn the potion of beastial memory…thats a freebie from the werewolf in the desert by mitra priest…think it’s called midnight alchemist to unlock the potion to change attributes and natural learning for feats. You got it easier then i do on siptah. I gotta keep doing pools and collect 5 schematic fragments to make a recipe…and the recipes are rng so you never know what recipe your gonna get…it could take me a long time to get the midnight alchemist recipe. You have direct access to it. Unless they start server transfers back up…then I’ll have to make my wife clan leader so i can transfer…go talk to werewolf guy to learn it then wait a day to transfer back to siptah.
For fragments i believe it was easy just to go get the little boxes in the unnamed city if i remember right. They always spawn in the same locations…think i had them marked on my map and would do runs to collect them all if noone else got to them first. There was like 9 or something locations i think…havent been on exiled lands in a while. Also once you learn to make the tablet of power those give you 50 feat points. Do that a few times and learn it all. Thats what i did back when i was there.
@sestus2009 thats why i said go learn midnight alchemist… Natural learning potion for feats potion of beastial memory for attributes. Just gotta talk to the werewolf to learn them. This way you don’t gotta even worry about resetting feats just attributes. Also dont gotta worry about yellow lotus messing things up like it has been. Us siptah players have it quite a bit harder to learn them recipes so i understand people using yellow lotus on siptah.
I understand the problem for players on Siptah. I use the potions from the werewolf on Exiles. Yellow lotus potions need to be fixed both for Siptah players who don’t have a readily available choice and new people to Exiles. Trying to help a person drop potions disappeared let her go to our fridge disappeared in her inventory evidently because she had not learned it. @Scumdog1980
Preservation box doesnt reset timer…only puts it on hold until its pulled out. If it only had like a couple seconds on it pulling it out starts the timer back up where its at. You can use them directly from the preservation box i believe so no need to even pull them out once you get them in there. If i knew the recipe id just make them one at a time as i needed them but instead ive been farming the yeti’s til they drop them.
■■■■■■ still doesn’t comment on the bug that prevents us from evolving sorcery… it’s frustrating! They took away all the excitement I was with this content, I just couldn’t enjoy it. I ended up stopping playing, who knows when they fix it, I’ll play again.
