After One Finishes the Game on Normal?

Does one get to keep all weapons and upgrades when starting a new game on Hard? Thanks.

Just finished my own first play through, haven’t started the second yet, but I don’t think it will keep weapons & upgrades for a new start. I can’t recall seeing a game do that since RE4.

All new games save to a new Session. No items transfer between Sessions.
