After the update, the official server requires a password! What’s the issue?
It may mean that the server is still updating. Probably good to check back later and see if the same problem still applies.

The team has reproduced the issue and they are currently investigating further.
This issue seems to happen if you have a password set for your single player game.
A current workaround is to remove that password (in your single player). Also make sure you press enter to confirm the change before exiting the menu.

You can set a password… for single player?
I had no idea you could do that… but why would you? 
For co-op maybe? (Perhaps otherwise co-op is vulnerable to outsiders choosing to join?) I dunno - seems odd…
I’m currently locked out of all my servers. Has there been any update on this?
If you’re being locked out in the same way as the original poster, have you tried the workaround suggested in Dana’s post?
Hopefully there will be a proper fix in due course, but this workaround seems to have worked for others (see also the first few posts in this thread - Patch 2.2.0 Discussion Megathread ) . If this workaround doesn’t apply to you,it is possible there may be another issue at play, in which case it would be good if you are able to provide additional details (among other things so you don’t get missed).
yeah, I can’t remove the password. it just comes back every time I delete it.
If you turn your sp on co op and you want your guest to use admin panel the only way to do it is by enabling a password to your sp mode .
I don’t have any single game going on. so… I don’t really want this to go on for days… I will lose everything I grind to build 
Quick heads up: There will be a hotfix later today that should have a fix for this issue so keep an eye out for that.
