Do you play console ? Not sure what it is on ps but on Xbox you now have to use the right thumb stick to toggle over to inventory’s on your right

I don’t know if you understood what I said. L3 and R3 are the names given to the inputs given by activating thumbsticks by pressing them. Usually they have attached toggle functions. Press-> activate, press again-> deactivate.
The continued pressure on the thumbsticks messes up their alignment and you start getting controller drift. Your character/aim moves while you put down the controler as if you were pushing the thumbsticks. This happens naturally when we use controllers due to the wear and tear of the materials. It’s almost inevitable. However if we want to delay this from happening, we never link to L3 and R3 functions that need you to hold down the thumbsticks.
It’s a bug and will surely be corrected soon enough.

The problem with the bearer tanks was mostly from purges from what I saw. You could put just 2-3 on guard at the entrance and they’d slaughter everything – all they needed were debuffing weapons. I was planning on using them to very safely intercept the new golem bomber waves with no personal risk and very little resource consumption. Bearers were simply never meant for that role. Golems are. We’re supposed to use them as the beef, with an eye toward consistently having to farm mats to replace them as we can’t repair them. Bearer tanks just needed gruel.
Since they’re trivializing that much content, a change of pace is definitely needed. Our tanks are simply not meant to be our backpacks, and vice versa. Considering that some bearers can still get north of 5k HP, I would argue they’re fine and that a shift to making golems more viable and useful is wholly welcome.
As far as cultural appropraition, the argument’s non-applicable as far as I’m concerned. All culture is human culture. All culture is fair game for representation in the arts. End of discussion on that facet.
Well, maybe I have not undestood. When I arrive home, I’ll text it. Thanks
Ah - not something I ever wanted to use them for, so not something I had noticed as a problem. I can see how that could be considered an issue. I still don’t agree that golems should be something we are supposed to use (that may be Funcom’s intent, I just don’t agree with it) - I’d prefer if they had never been added, but I can at least be left free to avoid and ignore them. But sure, bearers as primary purge guards doesn’t seem right at all.
My opinion as well, which is why I stated that it would be a dishonest argument for me to use.

Yeah there is a strategy of having heavy hitters mixed with damage sponges and if the damage sponges have effect weapons (like poisoned daggers), then it’s an issue.

This happen with pets too. I had wolf pets with the icon of rats.
LMAO I see lots of issues with this hotfix, which is interesting since my issue is I cant load my game at all.
sounds to me like this hotfix is a major hot mess and the people responsible for it should be fired instantly.
The problem is not cultural appropriation in the way the woke mean it.
It’s that a golem in Jewish culture (that’s from where the convept was borrowed) is very different from what we see in fantasy games. It doesn’t bother me, but golems in games aren’t golems at all.
They share being built from inanimate matter, but so are robots. There’s an entire depth about golems that is always missing. Golems are serious stuff, not a sort of goofy “androids” with a bad temper.
But that’s not a problem, IMO.

Yeah I think it’s supposed to wrap with the L stick bit should move up to search box with R stick like it does for workbenches for renaming and play button.
So yeah that’s a bug then for their list.
@MarcosC @Tvazmartins I’ve remapped it to one of the face buttons. I’m using X for jump and sprint now. @Teerizzly recommended that combo.
You’ll jump when you start running but at least you can run.
And then use the R stick to look around when running with your nose or something
Edit: I’ve changed it to triangle now. Then removed the hold triangle to wield/unwield.

As a temporarily solution, it’s fine, but Funcom needs to correct this bug.

PlayStation ? Xbox pads are not weak lol … I had drift stick once and because it was within 3 months of buying they classed it as faulty pad and sent me a brand new one free of charge … I just can’t believe the amount of people I’ve seen saying there quitting playing unless it changes back… like that’s the only thing wrong …

I mapped left trigger to sprint, hold triangle to kick/block. I never used the hold triangle wield function.

Thank you. I would never have worked that out for myself.
1 Thralls fall through the earth on player death and are constantly “scouting” until you have to use the “rescue” feature, there fore losing their inventory and equipment. Suggest teleporting the thralls and pets back to bedroll with the player for a pep talk and any safe spaces required from the trauma.
2 PlayStation 4 still unable to cope with the graphics and constantly judders during gameplay resulting in failed rolls and taking damage in combat regardless of blocking with shields. See above for player deaths…
3 Running around in the snow fighting mammoths naked is a silly idea especially as the said mammoth can one shot a player for 500 damage. Do we need to respec into vitality just for this fight. Suggest putting the person who decided upon this mechanic in a room, pointing at them and silently judging them until rectified.
- Inventory changes are unnecessary and to be honest baffling. Cannot swap between thralls and Dalinsia has stolen my kit and is lording it over me. See above statement about pointing and judging.

What part of “it will wreck your controller” don’t you understand? Bugs usually won’t bust hardware, but this one will definitely do that.

Quick update on what’s in the pipeline:
We’re focusing on building a new update specifically to address your inventory not responding correctly under various circumstances, as well as fixing Sprint toggle.
Inventory management issues include being unable to access chests and vaults, becoming unable to equip armor, multiple items becoming highlighted in your inventory, and more.
The current timeline we’re looking at for this patch release is approximately 2 weeks, assuming all goes well with getting these bugs squashed, build cooked, and patch certified. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more. Thanks folks.

Sprinting is the big one for me. PS5 thumb sticks are infamous for drifting. This is making it so much worse.
EDIT
Wait, two weeks? I may as well stop playing. PS5 controllers are going to take a beating. Forget inventory, focus on sprint. I remapped the button to X, but now I can’t move the camera or climb efficiently.

I can’t sign into a server since a certain follower was located near my player location.
In a couple of weeks, everything I have spent years working upon will have decayed.
But if a developer or server manager were to run a simple script on the game.db removing said follower class from the instantiated world, this issue would be rectified even if temporarily. I could probably even deliver you this SQL in just a few hours of research in single player, though this issue exists on an Official server.
