I would really love it if all armors, weapons, and creatures that have a time limit would turn into raw ashes. Not only would that return some resources, but it would add a certain demonic flair.
I know a lot of people are now saying, what’s the point of all this? I like such details in games.

It would be a nice touch but what id like to see is like tattered cloth, runied leather… rusty scrap
With those things you can create repair kit from it for ashes that would be left to like building and ir finding them in campfires etc
