This is longstanding bug in SWL (was ok in TSW).
The last of three guys stands there with 0HP for very long and need some extra beating.
In TSW on NM the last guy was fully healed when the other two are killed. It seems like he still is but HP bar is not updated. So if he is already low when you kill others you need to take full HP again even when he is shown 0 already.
