Question, why should we take your opinion or observations over anyone else’s either ? First, of all I have had hit and run testing of my defenses and checks on if I am online at my base during raid times that didn’t result in me running down the one who attacked. There are very good reasons for not chasing them down.

  1. Its a trap and they are hoping to lure you away from your base and ambush you, should be obvious, but you questioned it so here we are.

  2. They are trying again to see if anyone is home scouting for an easy smash and grab like any thief .

  3. Checking (counting) your numbers and see if the clan is foolish enough to show their hand and have all of them come out of the base like ants with a stick stuck into their hill.

Those are just the three most basic and obvious reasons why the OP’s scenario is perfectly believable and not unique.

Edit: You claim to be a party to this attempted offline. What is your proof that events happened as your described them over the OP’s claim(s) ? And also what is your “story” so to speak about this encounter. Just to be clear not answering this edit could very well result in many disregarding your claims as well as “made up”. In other words if you disputing the OP’s claim, show us your facts.

Now, could you next time be a bit more respectful to your fellow posters. The last few posts you have made appeared to be thinly veiled attacks against posters for simply posting differing views other than your own. I know life can get to you and people lose their temper and their sense of respect to others on these forums, but discussions are much more fun and productive when it threads don’t descend into chaos and bickering. I am saying in hopes that your post was sincere as it could be and not an attempt to get the thread locked by starting the aforementioned bickering by insulting the OP’s creditability in their own thread.

Back on topic, OP I hope more threads like this are written and more posters add their experiences and of course hope this results in more awareness and suggestions to improve the gameplay and atmosphere of the game.
