But here is the issue that I think we are all missing. FC dev is pointing to the exact opposite of what everyone is trying to defend here. They want the bases to have quick turnover and this has been the repeated end result of years worth of PVP changes. The players here still want to cry about lack of defenses but the game continues to make raiding easier and defense harder. The intent of CE PVP is pretty clear, IMHO. Rapid destruction of bases and change of alpha continuously if you are in a closed server environment. The issue is the inter-server clans that bounce around and instantly overwhelm servers with 10-30 players unified to wipe a server and so the players that aren’t linked to these groups are just SOL and leave the game with disgust. The inter-server clan on top plays around for a long period of time and then moves on to another server but leaves a person to monitor their holdings on that server. When it becomes threatened, they all pounce back on the server and squash the opposition.

This is their “war” and why PVP is in the state it is in. I left because i got tired of it and tired of seeing the same screen names doing the same things and pushing those that I don’t recognize away from the game. I left them to play with themselves because that is what you do with these bullies.

For all this talk about how devs screw over PVP, I have yet to see any modern PVPer take any accountability of the droves of new players they chase off and therefore actively push against FC’s bottomline on this game.
