Any way to skip intro movie in Enhanced edition?

I’m going mad over here having to wait it play all the way after 8 years.

Obviously I tried to hit Esc and any other buttons.

I don’t know why some people can skip and others can’t. Find the intro cinematic file and rename or delete it. it’s the only thing that works for me.

I simply press the left mouse button and it skips. Doesn’t that do it for everyone, too?

no. the video plays in its entirety every single time no matter what i press. My brother can skip just fine. i’ve tried to find the cause but no luck. so i renamed the intro video. now i’m at the main menu instantly after the inflexion logo.

if it was still loading as some people like to say is the problem, i would have a black screen for several minutes. for some reason it just can’t be skipped.

only thing i found is what james mentioned since my game folders dont have that ini file to change it, i had to delete the content in the movie folder and my game instantly opens up to the main menu lol

Clicking my mouse button skips it for me

It seens to be a intermitent situation then it’s a bug.

@devs , pls add in the options a way to enable/disable the intro , years later the game still doesn’t have it lol

I made a thread about this earlier and someone was able to give me the new fix for it (since the old fix doesn’t work now after the update)

Go to:
\ConanExiles\ConanSandbox\Content\Movies

Delete or rename:

Exiles_Cinematic_Intro.bk2
Funcom_Splash.bk2
Splash_Inflexion.bk2
StartupNvidia.bk2
StartupUnreal.bk2

Doing that fixed it for me :slight_smile:

I was able to skip them just fine last month, but something changed and now the cinematics can’t be skipped at all.
