Oh I got the email. But I know that Jimbo has been part of the closed beta process in the past so he would be more “in the know” about things like this than others. So I was more curious to know if he knew about this or if he was just surprise emailed like everyone else. Not that I would be asking for information, like I said a simple yes or no would suffice.

Yes and no. It’s a matter of butting heads with a poster with a fan base, so I get spam flagged across multiple forums regular. Some times they actual hit one that IS a violation.
I got them twice, for my Xbox/PC and Playstation Accounts, but can not participate because no Steam ID. Well. I would rather have been noticed about reverting the decay timers because of that I lost all thralls on Playstation today.
I didn’t get anything. I wonder, was it only sent out to the people that signed up for the newsletter, or whatever it was that gave that armor (that some people never even got). I didn’t sign up for that.
Not that I care much, I have no particular interest (or time) to test an update.
Reasonable hypothesis. I received the note, and had also previously signed up for the newsletter. I wonder if the same is true of the others that received?
I had signed up for the email list for CE when they put it out offering a free armor set, and I received the email for the playtest so that tracks.

I really, deeply missed them. I really hope the best for them and remind them that their contributions will never be forgotten.

When Conan Exiles was first being tested in January of 2016, there was an NDA required.
Conan Exiles entered Early Access on January 31, 2017 (a year later).
Conan Exiles was officially released on May 8, 2018.
Maybe this is the early testing of a Conan Exiles 2?
That seems unlikely to me, Dune released barely a year ago… to have a new game up and running would be very, very early Alpha.
But then again, I don’t know Funcom’s operations.
Sadly I didn’t get an invite so I can’t check 
it’s about a new update still in developpement, no a new game.

Yep. Would be nice if I could set up a client to run on my server box for testing if I get picked. Seems to be an area they’re always deficient in data from testing.
I’ve signed up but haven’t received anything from Funcom yet regarding a download or instructions.
If I had to guess, I’d say that this mysterious new feature is a merging/connecting of the main map and siptah, but 100% not CE2.
That would actually make a lot of sense imo. Siptah offers a lot of content, but is barely used. Merging it into the Exiled Lands would in effect increase the amount of content for players of both maps without having to actually create new content.
It will cause balance changes. But it’s a grandiose, reeeeelatively easy way to promote the game. Would be smart business-wise, I think.
I didn’t get the invite email for this particular one, but I did notice that my forum profile had an old email address I’ve been phasing-out. Also, I think it might be tied to being signed-up for a newsletter maybe?
At any rate, thanks for remembering us! I’ve got lots of wonderful memories from this community, and it will be exciting to see what comes of this newest round of playtesting. I can tell you that from past betas that it’s really gratifying to feel like you’re having an active part in making the game a better “place” for all.
