This isn’t a long message. But I just wanna point out how amazing the devs are and how they are so in touch with the community. Never have I experienced such a good dev team working on a product they love. Ark could learn so much from this. I love you guys. Can we just all appreciate this for one time. Devs that actually listen to the community and try to fix things.

Aye. It shall not be said that they don’t listen or try. They do.
Fixing complicated stuff that breaks itself is an upward battle.
Letting frustrated people be frustrated instead of cracking down is a choice well chosen and has not gone unnoticed. This forum is a whole lot more lenient than most other forums (the posts they do remove is… beyond spiteful. And even then the community managers try to communicate with those posts, whereas most other forums would just outright close and ban.
Funcom may seem a bit haphazard, but they try and listen. That’s for sure and proven.

Exactly. And I thought at least someone had to say something like this. The only thing they mostly get is complains about how they handle things. Even when they make a dlc people in the comments go insane.

As I just posted in another thread they’re doing what they can to the best of their abilities and should recieve sincere applauds that they can keep going.
I think the majority of the negativity stems from being not ignorant… But ehm… inknowledgable? Dunno if that’s even a word. Point being most people don’t know or understand how hard it is to make games…
Bugs? Yeah, it’s a programmers nightmare, you fix one bug and a thousand appear or you fix one thing which cascades into fixing thousands of things you didn’t even touch. Honestly if there’s ever a software or game without any bugs what so ever I bet you there’s one programmer sitting there asking himself “How the hell is this working”.

I have to agree with the OP. I haven’t been a member here very long, but coming from the Bethesda forums where we never hear anything from developers, it’s nice to see how things are done here.
