Some games have already this feature. For example on 7 days to die, the more you craft an item the better you fix your gear or tools.
Yet why i find this feature handy?
For pve.
A player is bored of the game but refresh his base just because of the crafters. If he-she masters all the professions, then this wouldn’t be a problem anymore.
For pvp.
Imagine a pvp player that lost every single crafter on his last raid. With this idea of yours the pvp player do not need named crafters anymore. So basically it’s just sticks and stones to retrieve from now on.
The problem!
Too many hard-core players, but only on words not on deeds, will come here to complain that the game has become very easy. Like it’s not since the beginning
. The only difficulty this game has is organization, nothing else.
I wouldn’t mind to be master crafter, I’d love it. Yet only by capturing a master crafter you would become one too. And in order to become master crafter you have to start your education from tier 1. This way low lvl crafters would have better reasons for existence.
