I did not think of this idea to grind, but more as a complement of what we have. For instance, I tend to craft a new armor for each new thrall I tame. Without going out of my way, that craft would become part of the profession leveling.

And I agree that it should last some time and not disappear right away, hence my comment about the “hardcore” part. A player who can only play on weekends should still be able to have fun without having his gauge completely reset each Sunday.

I thought, it could be cool too, when the battle pass asks to “craft” things, that it would not be a craft to waste, but a craft for a greater purpose (leveling your profession and getting something of it).

As for the 2%, I don’t know, it was just a random number lol.

A taskmaker profession could enable a player who “puts” the thall in the wheel of pain to “craft” the thrall into submission 10% faster, or something.

A cook profession could enable to eat 2 meals and get their 2 bonuses stacked for instance.

And a bard / performer would enable you to play music for your friends and get rid of 20% of their corruption for instance.

I don’t know, those are just random numbers on ideas, but I’m sure that with the professions as a start/core, players can grow branches of fun thoughts.
