When using the Arcane Staff to cast the light orb that floats around to light my area it rarely casts. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any reason why it will work once and then not work after logging off and logging back in later to find it not working?
Assuming you are talking about Imbue Wisp - you may find your issue matches what is described in one of the reports here, here or here - it seems like this is a long time bug, so you probably aren’t doing anything wrong.
What you could do is add (another) bug report to helpshift - Contact Us — Conan Exiles Help Center - that is where bug reports for CEE need to go (unless you are playing on Legacy, in which case they belong here on the forums - it can be a little confusing 
) - this is so the devs can see them sooner. (But please do also continue to report bugs here as well, that way they can be added to the player-maintained bug list. Next update out tomorrow. I’ll add your link as well.)
I hate this bug… But I found a work-around. If the game you play on can run mods, install the Mooserver mod by Xevyr. You’ll get some other nice QoL things, too, but nothing that’ll change the game.
