Archers and Fighters not taking food from nearby Thrall Pot

Bug Reproduction:

Put a thrall pot nearby, put archers or fighters nearby, put food into the thrall pot which fighters and archers eat, cause damage to either fighter or archer, and you will see that the food in the pot isn’t being taken by the fighters or archers, it’s also not appearing in their inventory, so they are not healing through food. See pictures for more info.

I’ve conducted a controlled test in Singleplayer with 1 archer, 1 fighter, a 5x5 arena with thrall pot and gruel and some hyenas.

I’m seeing that they are drawing from the thrall pot as the gruel is decreasing but sometimes it doesn’t show in their inventory and the health buff isn’t displayed above their HP bar. It’s probably because they’re eating it too fast.
