Rendering issues are starting to really bug the crud outta me lately along with the failed nemedian book shelves that often require several re-entries into an area to populate with books.
I cannot honestly say how to fix these issues or what even causes them but it is really starting to bug me like no tomorrow.
I just want to build my bases and be able to explore them and that seems a lot to ask anymore along with collecting people to populate them with.
I walk around my base interior nevermind the outside and torches/lighting just flips some sort of back end hidden switch and go into low texture mode where all my torches resemble nothing more than lit slightly animated blobs.
My characters also lose their texture definition at the same time.
It’s bad enough i lose the dang jiggle physics of my female characters that i enjoy having around my base they lose their dang textures as well.
Can we-may we please get some attention on these issues?
I know broken issues before artistic issues i am not ignorant on how priorities work, but are we going to see any fixes for this stuff as well in the foreseeable future?
I have tried soo many things to aleviate texture loss and still no dice. For reference my base has around 6059 pieces with about 529 placeables and i think have maybe 30 thralls. This is in single player mode / offline no one else but me.
To give you an idea of the work i have put into trying to stop this issue or minimize its occurrence from my side:
-I have tried using only certain torch types
-Smaller base(s)
-Lowering the amount of torches
-Lowering the amount of weapon displays/carpets/paintings in any given area
-Swapped windows out for just walls in case it requires more work to render a window than a wall (i think CE calls windows frames and in the case of my base they would be akin to windows with the stormglass set and not just flat out cut outs like other frames in other sets that are just a simple hole in a wall.)
