Brutal Sun RP-PvP - Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah
Ascension in Brutal Lands RP-PvP is a server created to accommodate roleplayers of all levels of experience. Our server lore is rooted firmly in the traditional Conan lore, and we aim to create an environment where players are able to pursue areas of roleplay that interest them the most. This is done both through admin driven, server wide plots and regular events, as well as more personal player driven roleplay stories. All of this is supported through our selection of mods, plus the development of our own in-house mod to allow us to tailor gameplay to suit our players’ suggestions and requests.
At present, the server has a fully administrated Exiled Lands server with ongoing roleplay plotlines, as well as a more freeform Isle of Siptah server for players to test and explore the new expansion.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - Mysterious Disapperances (RP-PvE event)
Date: February 1st 2020 Time: 21.00 GMT / 16.00 EST / 22.00 CET
Riverrun, one of the hubs of activity for the inhabitants of the Exiled Lands, has been struggling to recover following a bloody siege and much of the settlement lies in ruins, much of its population slain at the hands of invading Serpentmen. In an attempt to rebuild the stockpiles of the town, they have established a mine near the Silkwood to harvest iron, coal and even the rare metal Argentium.
For a period, the flow of supplies from the mine was steady, but has been abruptly ended with no contact from the foreman or his workers. Knowing what manner of creatures occupy the Silkwood, Riverrun seeks to hire a band of willing adventurers to travel to the mine and seek out the missing workers, as well as to recover any supplies should any remain.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - An Undead Threat Rising (RP-PvE event)

Thunderous roars echo from the frozen mountain slopes, the sound of hammers striking anvils, an omen of war. The far northern settlement Carrowmore sends out a party of scouts, only two return, their faces filled with horror, their bodies colder then the north itself.
“U-undead,” is all they mutter.
Couriers depart the township and spread throughout the land, carrying with them a message: Carrowmore is calling for aid to find this undead threat and end it before it grows beyond any of their control.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - An Undead Threat Rising (RP-PvE event)
Date: Thursday February 13th 2020 Time: 19.00 GMT / 14.00 EST / 20.00 CET
A raven carrying a letter, sealed with a wax seal in the form of a war-hammer, arrived at Riverrun, the hub of the Exiled Lands. The letter request immediate assistance of those that are able to. A caravan of the Order Of The Silver Hammer arrived in the land to combat the ever growing dark corruption and otherworldly activities, and have been promptlyn ambushed by relentless waves of undead leaving some knights dead and their leader, Paladin Alberic, injured.
Riverrun, still recovering from a previous assault by servants of the darkness, requests the help of the Exiles to seek the caravan and get the Paladin and his retinue out of dodge.
Details in the letter suggest that the undead waves have been increasingly harder to fend off and that they seem to be led by a large armoured human, by the name of Corvishish.
It is imperative that the Paladin does not sustain any more injuries, lest he will have a harder time setting up his organisation and combatting the evil forces that may be.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - The Eagle and the Serpent (RP-PvE event)
Date: Saturday February 22nd 2020 Time: 19.00 GMT / 14.00 EST / 20.00 CET
Imperator Craxtus, leader of the 10th Aquilonian legion sees an opportunity to unseat Azot from his stronghold. With two defeats in a row, and Riverrun rebuilt, Azot’s forces are weakened. Craxtus seizes the opportunity to send Lt. Trask, and stalwart Exiles to strike at Azot. The 10th Aquilonian legion offers the spoils of the conquest to the Exiles, as well as a handsome sum from the legion’s coffers. Craxtus hopes to root out and destroy Azot before he can regain strength.
The 10th Aquilonian Legion, “Crimson Eagles” sends messengers to your home. Bearing sealed letters, it offers you a chance to side with the Aquilonians during this assault. Those who accept, will be considered friends and allies of the Legion. Those who decline, will not be held in a negative light.

Extremely awesome server. Can’t be any more grateful and satisfied that I decided to try it out! Would definitely recommend for anyone on the lookout for a good RP server atm.
My biggest criticism of Ascension is that for the sheer amount of effort the admins put into the server, not enough of it is advertised. From unique quests and worthwhile rewards, to weekly conflict-led events, an over-arching storyline and an impressive eye for mechanical detail in the server’s character role system, almost none of this is touted beyond the borders of Ascension.
Were there a dedicated push to actively advertise the server I have little doubt that Ascension would be one of the most populated RP servers on Conan Exiles. For now they’ll have to settle for just being one of the best.
In short: the population is modest, active, and remains one of the most pleasant and co-operative I’ve experienced in Conan Exiles. If you want a server with challenging mechanics, PvP and RP, this is the one for you.

A more foul smell than normal seeps from the grates of the Dregs, A thick green ooze drips to the sands. Screams of agony are heard from inside - clearly something is wrong. A group of scouts from Sepermeru have been send to investigate, the Darfari camp infront of the Dregs seems to be completely empty, devoid of life. Not even a corpse remains.
As they walk into the Dregs they are greeted with horrors beyond imagination and quickly they flee the scene to report to their mayor. Upon hearing this news, word is sent out to the exiles: stop whatever cult has taken hold of the Dregs from extending their influence.

A large number of organised undead have been spotted traveling through the lands, towards the jungle. The undead walk in the form of a warband, towards the same destination.
As the rattling bones crawl from every corner of the lands, all larger settlements have called out for cautions to be had. Ravens from Carrowmore. Notices from Riverrun. Even Serpermeru has closed its gates and doubled its guard. In response to these cries for help, Paladin Alberic of the Order of the Silver Hammer has stepped forth to lead the charge against the forces of Shade.
It’s obvious something is afoot.
Shade will be attempting a ritual to increase the powers of his undead. Players will have the option to side with either faction, that of Paladin Alberic or the side of Shade.
Shade will be using the Book of Flesh for the ritual. If the siege is successful and Shade is stopped within the time limit the players will have the option to claim the book for themselves.

The cursed blade of Bel was lost amongst the rubble of the Heimsgarar Keep after the destructive wave swept over the land, dissipating into nothingness and reclaimed by the God of Thieves. It did not, however, take long for it to reappear in the hands of those who wish to use the weapon with ill intent.
A Nordheimer raider known as Vignar the Butcher was the first to reclaim the weapon, infamous amongst the guardsmen and traders of Carrowmore for his raids on outposts and caravans. Having used the blade to assert his control over the bandit groups in the north of the Exiled Lands, the Nord raider now turns his attention towards Carrowmore, looking to dash hopes of fully rebuilding the once proud settlement.
In response to the news of the planned attack, Carrowmore has requested aid from any adventurers willing to join their cause. A gold reward will be paid to those who answer the call, as well as, perhaps, the opportunity for interested parties to reclaim the cursed blade for themselves.

The tendrils of corruption from the mysterious and powerful Library of Zel Rhathra burrow deep within the land. Where it once lay dormant and passive, it now looks to begin its assault against the Exiled Lands.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - The Smouldering Stone (RP-PvE Event)

Deep within the heart of the volcano lay many secrets and relics of times long past, waiting to be claimed by those with skill and good fortune to claim as their own.
One such artifact is referred to as the Smouldering Stone, a gemstone of legend that is purported to have infused the flames of any forge strong enough to contain its power with an intensity rivalled only by the volcano itself. Scouts of the Turanian Expedition have discovered clues as to the whereabouts of the stone, and as such their leader has committed the necessary resources towards its recovery. Messages have been distributed to the various settlements and peoples of the land through courier and raven, offering generous pay for those willing to join a band travelling to the volcano to investigate the rumours.
What awaits in the volcano beyond its usual perils is unknown, but if the Smouldering Stone truly does exist, such dangers and risks are more than worth the reward.

Brutal Sun RP-PvP - Lament & Sorrow (RP-PvE Event)

Something stirs in the ruins of the ancient, fallen city of Xel-ha. An ominous presence that flits through the Forgotten City and lingers on the peripheral of vision for any travellers passing through the area. The only sign of any physical disturbance in the city itself are small mounds of unsettled dirt, often accompanied by strange, claw-like grooves in the soil.
An expedition has been arranged, funded by the Turanian Expedition and the settlement of Twin Rocks, to discover what exactly these disturbances entail.

Following the (mostly) successful expedition to Xalthar’s Refuge, further rumours have arisen of riches to be found throughout the land: this time in the far north. The cave system close to Jhil’s Roost was once home to one of the most significant examples of the reach of the Library’s power within the Exiled Lands, a complex network of structures created by a vast, unknown power. Since the banishment of the structure, the caves have been left as a desolate ruin, with the promise of seeded secrets yet to be discovered. What lies in wait for would-be adventurers and treasure hunters journeying to this place is unclear, the information provided before their trip vague; but what is certain is that not all things will be as they might appear.

This server is well done, staff members are involved in, and community helps newcomers. Sometimes they are clustered but is a RP server. There are a lot of new challenges you can’t Solo (tried and failed). I come from Spanish RP community and I strongly recommend it if you need a break from the drama.
