Atlantean Seal Construction: True Underwater Bases & Settlement Improvements for Enhanced

Well, to make animals look more alive, we’d need to see a whole bunch of animations added. Too few, and it would look fake. Same problem if the animations played the same loop too frequently. Take the tiger, for example: A sitting tiger animation, an ear flip animation, a turn head left/right set of animations, a yawn animation, a stretch animation, a tail flip animation, and so on. Then repeat for ALL animal pets. That’s alot of work. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but is that the best use of time or would we rather want them working on actual game content?

If you want my honest answer, unless they expand the map there’s nothing more I would enjoy if I am being honest I wanted a new map forever or a Exiled Lands expansion, maybe going into more details about the amber and red bracelets and finally being able to see the amber and red ghost walls. But a new map unless it’s also added to the game like were it’s also connected it would only split the player base up. Servers are already dead so I would rather them make what they have good amazing QoL fixes like a magic chest that auto sorts into chest that have specific material filters on. Thrall implements and animal pet improvements so it depends on what the new content is.

For a full ‘Living Settlements’ type approach, sure that would be a lot of work - as you say, it would need a bunch of additional animations. But for a bit of extra life, patrol routes (and maybe a little bit of randomisation betwen the two or three animations they already have, for when they’re not ‘patrolling’) can do quite a lot.

A mod I used on UE4 (Thralls are alive) did a scheduling thing, so about a third of my animals would be wandering around the base in each 8-hour period of the day, on preset routes (you placed a bunch of invisible markers to set up each route). I made the routes seem a bit random and the overall effect worked quite well. (The ones that weren’t wandering would occasionally stand up in their spot, or lie back down, or eat for a bit.) The mod also allowed even more variety for thralls to be scheduled, but we’re not really talking about that here. The point is that with relatively limited stuff actually added in, quite a bit of life can be added. (And it worked SOOO much better than Living Settlements…)

no i dont want another living settlements,

i want to have full control of my slaves !

I would rather they do something other then stand around.

Set them the rest enote pr the eat emote.
