I’ve been noticing that when a Wight agros on me or my thrall and I rush forward to attack it that my first attack with a sword (one handed) will go right through the wight. I believe it only happens while the wight is running. I’ve had it happen with the light and heavy attack. Also when using a shield I’ve noticed the 2nd, heavy attack go right through a running wight as well.
Steps to recreate:
Go to an area with the glowing blue skeletons (wights).
Get them to agro and start running towards you.
Initiate your attack before the wight stops running.
Watch as your attack goes right through the wight without inflicting any damage.
If anyone else has a different experience please post and let me know.

I might have experienced something like this today on the live version singleplayer. I was in the UC on horseback and a sword-wielding wight was approaching. I thought my attack should have landed, but it didn’t.
I have a similar issue but with a different weapon. Daggers. I find that the first 1 or 2 hits tend to ‘clip’ or go through the target. But not just Wights, virtually all types of enemies. It could potentially be a hitbox issue. Has anyone else encountered this?
When you use daggers, the first combo doesn’t hit the wights?
I often have trouble with the first heavy combo from daggers against any enemy, but I know from the times that it’s successful it’s mostly due to my bad aim, altho I’m sure the animation + hitbox also contributes.
