Just wanted to check and see if there were any workarounds for this until they get it fixed⊠and I hope they plan on fixing it ASAP because the game is unplayable and it will cause people to leave the game for one that works.

People have been saying this is an issue on Funcomâs end of things.

They released a Patch and that patch has messed up the servers, so a lot of people are getting the Auth Failed.
What makes me very Angry why does Funcom not have a Test server, to test their patches and DLC to make sure it works first before they release it to the public.
I am Angry as I build on Offical servers I build for pleasure and design 1000s of hrs Grinding, building and designing to have the base decay Gone as I canât get on an Offical server.
Funcom is happy with us spending on DLCs and Battlepass but if they keep messing up like this when Dune comes out people wonât buy into it. as these mess-ups players will go elsewhere.

They have a public beta client, but itâs another full game download, so not many (including me) bother with it.
No Patch Was Posted On Friday The Dev Posted In Another Discussion There Could Have Been A Hacker Who Messed Up Their Coding There Are So Many Possibilities Of What Happened The Dev Said That They Are Monitoring The Situation Meaning They Have To Watch A Screen Full Of Coding To See If Something Is Standing Out And They Said They Would Update All Of Us On The Matter In Which I Completely Understand Everyoneâs Frustration But The Devs Are Working On It Still This Takes Time You Have To Understand There Must Be A Ton Of Coding In The Game Itself So With That In Mind It Could Take A Couple Of Days Hopefully This Helps.
Been getting Authentication Failed on Official Servers since Friday. Got a patch today - but the problem continues - file validation, application cycles, machine reboots on Windows 7 and Windows 10. its not us its them. Guess we have to wait.

Also, which âdevâ supposedly mentioned a hacker? Iâve looked at the dev tracker and there ainât no mention of a âhackerâ messing up their âcodingâ.

they destroy their own game community. either is Funcom, Playfab, or whatever the culprit. they donât give us enough detail of the outages or even compensation for this
