Authentication failed when joining official server how do I fix it? I can not join

The fault is on FunCom’s end. You can keep re-trying the login. Many players are able to connect eventually.

It’s not just Xbox, it’s PC too.

Yeah same here on PC. I tried login at 11p CST on 2/24 and it was failing to authenticate at that time too. Down all night from what I gather.

I am fully aware of all of that its happening to thousands of people on every single platform im just posting it because i play on pc game pass for the xbox app

I have the same issue. Has this been going on for 13 hours now? Why hasn’t it been fixed?

The Dev Said That They Are Monitoring The Situation Meaning They Have To Watch A Screen Full Of Coding To See If Something Is Standing Out And They Said They Would Update All Of Us On The Matter In Which I Completely Understand Everyone’s Frustration But The Devs Are Working On It Still This Takes Time You Have To Understand There Must Be A Ton Of Coding In The Game Itself So With That In Mind It Could Take A Couple Of Days Hopefully This Helps.

all servers are almost empty, everyone have the same issue, Authentication Failed!! please funcom, fix servers soon!

Everyone has the same problem, at least leave a clarification note so we can get a sense of what is happening.

Im posting here again, just so Funcom doesn’t get any delusions about the issue having been resolved. I have been locked out of my server for 7+ hours now.

You all that are getting this issue which is almost everyone need to go to steam and put your issues on a steam, review so others who are thinking of buying this broken game a chance to see what is really going on.

People are losing their whole builds, things they have brought do not even show up in single game at moment , Funcom is saying they are working on it but do you all see a fix. Are they even telling you all what the real problem is , no they are not , we are looking at it , will it be days, weeks or months before it gets fixed if it can even be fixed.

Put a review on steams let those who have not brought this know just how broken at the moment this game is , come on Funcom fix your game, stop with the bull and tell people what the real issues is, did you get hacked and are just to scared to tell your players, or do you even have a clue how to fix this.

People put this out there on steam stop others from getting stuck in a loop of broken items and losing their whole builds. I am sure this comment will get pulled as always the truth hurts , this game is broke yet again , yet again its not able to even be played.

With this kind of support record this last quarter, I highly doubt I will host Funcom’s new, upcoming Dune game.

I know I will not be even looking at Dune at this rate.

Hey Guys,
After this new Patch, I’m not able to join any online server.
Everytime I try to join I got a Message “Authentication Failed”.

I was able to create my server on single player as I normally do.
I have Already deleted the Modlist.txt trying to fix it, but didnt work.

Already restart the game and the Steam app several times

Can someone help me?

Edit1: Already did all the steps (Close the game, Reinstall the BattlEye, Check for integratity of Files, Reinstall the full game), nothing works.

The problem is at FunCom’s end. It looks like the RADIUS server that handles authentication at FunCom has crashed or is malfunctioning. That would explain why it is so hard to authenticate.

Don’t bother to uninstall, reinstall or verify. Don’t go deleting caches or anything. It’s a waste of time and it won’t solve this issue. Keep re-trying if you’re desperate to get on, it might work, it might not. This has to be resolved at FunCom by FunCom staff.

I tried the same remedies… no luck. Hopefully, it’s fixed at Funcom soon. Saturday is a bad day to breakdown.
