I believe he said he has about 100 hours since release, and 1200 from early access =)
Interesting points. I was shocked too at Black Ice mining rates. I built my first house(s) with T2 materials mainly for aesthetics. The next buildings will be T3 for sure considering the mining rate of Black Ice.
I am disappointed in raiding mechanics in general. Most bases are being built within caverns of some sort. These caverns nullify using a trebuchet because of the lob dynamic forcing you to use orbs and jars. Considering the ridiculous cost and effort into building a trebuchet… why build them? If a trebuchet did just obscene amounts of damage compared to orbs and jars… I could see it. But then you would have to add Ballista to handle the cave dwellers.
Let’s hope Funcom fixes these items soon… Otherwise, in about a month or so, they’re gonna have a lot of empty servers.
