Nah, mine still prefers going outside and play with his friends on the pool, play football or battling each other with nerfs and do all the usual stuff kids do. I also made sure he practices sport.
Judo and swimming.
He has 2h of screen time each day that he needs to manage as he sees fit, as long as they aren’t continuous. Every half an hour he needs to take a break and go do something else for a few minutes. Failing to do so costs him the next day’s screen time. Rarely I let him play a little longer. No social networks at all, of any kind. He’s too young for that. No cell phone by the same reason.
No way I would let him rot his ass on the sofa.

It’s easier to blame games than admiting bad parenting (this is not addressed to you at all @anon77605266 !).
My son is the top of his class and a very happy child. Playing videogames leads kids to score higher in IQ tests by about two points. The studies are still preliminary, but games help them developing their intelligence, if supervised properly.
We can notice if a kid is alienating himself in videogames way before it becomes a problem and there are many ways to counter that process, that is but a sign of deeper issues manifesting in such way.
Communication with kids is extremely important, but it needs trust, time and truth from both parts.
Anyway, we were talking about the bazaar and ended up discussing child development.
You sound like a great gamer @Winthor and even a better person.

I confess I much preferred our conversation than any discussion about the bazaar.
I loved your post, @Bathory . Your kids are very lucky to have you. Couldn’t agree more with what you wrote. I only wish more people had your kind of awareness regarding their children. It’s very important providing them a well rounded education, so, congratulations. You’re doing an excellent job. Later they’ll have their own preferences, but nobody has them about things they ignore. Well done! I know it’s not always easy, especially with a job like yours. I can only imagine how tired and emotionally drained you return home from work when the day was difficult. Having the love, energy and intelligence to raise your kids like you do is not short of inspirational. It’s one of those things that immediately put a smile on my face and give me hope for a better future.

Yes, something like it.

Lots of players who want to buy something that’s not available. The current FOMO system is clearly not very efficient.

And it is again Golem Master, Zar, and AoS Armors … Only the slots change. I think it is even always the same discount.
Did nobody buy the stuff so they try it again and again?

Come on, if you want my money and deny a purchase by the stupid rotation system, AT LEAST ROTATE! … lol

One thing I did notice was that there was an individual wolf skin there and that gives me hope that the undead skin will pop up by itself without the bone collector stuff or all of the wolf skins. I just want a skeletal dog. (still need to get that price down though…that single skin is pricey and I believe we should see it more as a 200-400 cc range vs the discounted 5-600 range)

I want to buy that wheel of pain skin like a 1 thrall cage, and the decorative food. I’ve been waiting for months now. Who is benefiting from the current bazar rotations? It’s not us players and the way I see it, it’s not Funcom either.

guys just wait, complete new rotations tomorrow.
But i agree, some meh goods stays too long, but best items (on sale btw) are gone for a months… wth…

The gibet has been up 3 different times. 2X with the entire headhunter set and once in a solo item. I’m sure it will pop up again but but it’s been there. I feel your pain as I’m waiting for the undead dog skin all by itself and that has never happened yet but it’s been included in various sets that I’m not enticed by.

Let’s be honest.
Funcom uses the “fear to miss” against their own player base. They use shady psychological tricks to exploit people’s pockets with ridiculous overpriced virtual items.

If the shop would have decent prices and no “fear to miss rotation”, and would fix this game with all the exploits, cheats and bugs, I would come along with that - but how it is now: No!

The sad thing is if they actually would fix the exploits, cheats, and bugs, along with the balance (on a grand scale) and thrall/enemy AI, Conan Exiles would easily and by far be the very best survival sandbox multiplayer game there is. It would be a masterpiece of art. But instead of going the last ten meters of the way to ultimate greatness, they rather go with fervor any mile to squeeze out the last “ten cents” of their fanbase.

Dungeon set for 840 and Stormglas extension for 1200 - I can live with that, so: thank you.
