My base decayed after 6-ish days of me not logging in… I lost a MASSIVE amount of materials, weapons, etc…

Are you sure it decayed? What do the server logs say?
We’ll need a lot more information before we’d be able to offer advice, explain or refer you.
Are you playing on Singleplayer, Co-Op or Multiplayer, if Multiplayer, is it an Official or a private server?
PVE, PVE-C or PVP if multiplayer?
I see you put this in the Playstation, PS4 or PS5? If singleplayer, do you frequently restart during gaming sessions and/or use an external drive?
If either singleplayer or multiplayer, is decay actually enabled? Are you sure the building you’re talking about had full decay timer since the last time you had logged in?
