I have a player who’s base seems to have disappeared, but all thralls and benches are still there in the air? It is a modded server, but no recent changes to mods or updates? He also used normal DLC to build.
The base is big, huge in fact the biggest I’ve ever seen. Built near the Den.
Did you try using a backup database?
My last backup was too long ago. I guess I need to backup more often.
Okay dumb question; did he go out of render range and then return to see if its just slow to load in? Sometimes if a base is huge, it takes awhile for it to fully load in. Does everyone see an empty base?
Haha, Ya, we went out of render distance. I even restarted server and still missing. He has other bases that are still there in other areas.
Are they all made from the same dlc type? Which one? I dont have an answer just trying to get as much info as possible. There are other reports of bases going poof and any details might help.
Does the event log say anything like “loss of stability” or anything?
I know that he just used reg DLC as we do not have any mods that add building pieces. I know I saw him use Aquilonian and Black Ice
do you have the decay system active?
and how often do you regularly restart your server? cause if it is played on a lot, I would suggest at least 2 restarts per day, and to do a daily backup at least.
Restarted daily, but I have to do manual backups, so that is done less often.
