Base lightning, general lighting

Simply put, all the bugs, unbearable lag, and poorly done map lighting are gone.

Even the lights in the bases stopped shining? A single torch used to illuminate a room very well, now not even 50 do the job.

It’s an unbearable darkness that takes away any beauty from the game.

I have no problem with Light, very better now… Realistic in Square Inverse.

May be your Screen not calibrate or Gamma. One problem is game actually a bit too dark, it is general. Just up Gamma.

Impossible, my setup runs everything at the highest performance level.

It’s simply unbelievable to compare the past with the present; a radio torch simply looks like a firefly.

you not understand… you can have put 10 000$ in a Screen, the calibrate is do by you…

Do you have calibrate your screen? Each years you need to do that fo to have a file “Color calibrate”, after which screen you have? Oled? Nits?

All is perfect from my side, and I make 3D Graphic since 30 years… I can tell you the Lighting in UE 5 Conan is perfect and in Square Inverse. RAdiosity yes is minimal, impossible to compute milliard of Photons in real time same the UE5 or Unity, it is not Arnold Render or VRAY or IRAY…

Check too your drivers.

In the interest of being open, and honest in my emoji response, I fully empathise with your issue.

I am no expert as to the reasons behind the lighting issues you, myself, and potentially 1000’s of other players are experiencing, but if I may make a suggestion..? I use Radium Torches with slightly darker dyes in them to offer a reduced light with, so far, no eye hurting glare.

Try and stay positive.

Switching from a faithful lighting system to a darker one is normal. It’s an inverse square law.

On an older engine like Unreal from 1999, a single light source illuminates a planet; it’s infinite…

In reality, photonic energy is an inverse square law.

use Gamma.
