Bat summoning is too over powered

I do remember like a year or so after launch, a properly defended and built base could outlast most of raid hours, but back then archers hit about 75% of the time and arrows were a bit more effective, especially if you alternated between archer with snake arrows(crippled healing) and archers with hardened steel or better, bombs were harder to make en mass, to the point where orbs were more cost effective, one time I held out on a raid from 8 people by myself(clan decided to go on break that day) they made it to the vault in the last minutes but it was fun, especially punting people off the walls and over the cliff with a warhammer, but then again the fully trained berserkers decked out in the vault didn’t let them loot it

yes me too, and a base should be hard to raid it s normal, the one that decided to make blowing so easy totally broke the siege system, especially in nerfing or suppressing all whhat was used for offline defence, conan is the only survivl with no real workable mechanism defense for offline raid. i mean actual state of the game, is you go dinner 10mn you have no more base and you are totally wiped. not hard to understand that there is a problem

i think instead of worrying about the bat spell you should have thought about the consequences of having notzee references in your clan name along with being allied with a clan named KoolKidsKlub and on top of that spewing racist remarks and harassing female players probably wasn’t a smart move on you and your allies part. so did you and your racist friends get a perma ban or just a time out?

Not even cave bases are save. Lightning Storms can be spammed easily and they will 2 shot your beds.

I agree with you, archer thralls are in a pretty bad spot right now. They feel weak and decorative in PvE, while in PvP they often just eat up thrall slots and FPS with little payoff. I miss crossbows as well :frowning:

That’s actually one of the reasons I made a feature request for airtight magical building pieces + strong transparent windows for underwater bases.

With proper underwater strongholds, players could create secure bases that are much harder for “bat droppings” style raiding, you’d need actual preparation (breathing potions, underwater gear, siege tools, etc.) instead of just spamming cheap attacks. It gives defenders a real option while still having clear weaknesses.

Would love to hear your thoughts on using underwater bases as a counter to some of the PvP frustrations.

You don’t need an air tight building to have an under water hideout. Fill a chest full of breathing potions, use riptide, and or the underwater mask. All or any combination of that makes it possible. It’s worked for me when I’ve needed a low profile hideout.

No no, I think you’re confused, that’s not an underwater base, that’s a sunken/flooded base :joy:

What I’m asking for is a proper airtight underwater base where you can actually walk around normally like you’re on the surface, no potions, no mask, no swimming in your own living room. Just chill on your couch, look out the magical glass windows at the fish, and feel like a badass Atlantean sorcerer. Potions and masks are cool for quick hideouts, but I want the full Netheria experience, my guy. Sit in my chair and look out and see the water ect ect..
