It’s OK. I’ve been asking this same question since it was first introduced and everyone is pretty much like “you know, you just Battle Pass it, bruh…”
Nothing against Wak as I think he’s the shizz, but why should I need to go to YT to get an understanding of what the Set is going on? It seems like a tiny little bit of text might just help, but there’s nothing. Just some runic stuff.

As you clear challenges you get XP.
This is really mostly only worth it once per day due to the 10x modifier they get.
So the Iron one, you harvest 10 Iron Nodes until they shatter.
Go to Challenges, click Claim Reward.
Go to Battle Pass, you have the XP now towards your next one level up.
You can reroll challenges 3x per day it would seem. But after the initial ones, you get normal XP. So it’s really only worth redoing the 150xp one, the 70xp or less just aren’t worth it unless you’re super close to a level up.
At that point it’s just mindless grinding and not fun at all, unless it’s stuff you’re doing as you normally play the game.

Yeah well those good old days of getting a solid explanation in a little booklet are gone now mate. You Tube is the explanation now, and the time saver! Lol

Many thousand thanks. I totally get it now, and it is indeed quite close to my WWE2K22 experience. I appreciate it!

No worries. ^^ It can be a little bit obtuse having to jump around so many different windows, with little to show their correlation to one another.

Yeah, it was a little confusing at first because both the challenge tab and the battle pass tab use Claim Reward. It made me think I was was claiming the prize in the challenge tab as opposed to claiming the xp for the challenge. I wish they would rename the claim buttons on the challenge tab to something like “Claim XP” or “Complete Challenge”

That’s a good idea. Nice one!

Time for Battle Pass fun.
Build a death palace. Cloak/God Mode.
Set your Base Defenders.
Spawn in NPCs to be murdered off for you.
Or build gladiatorial rings of death where you spawn your targets to fight to the death with your chosen guards/pets while you watch with amusement.

Battle Pass is mandatory to get anything not featuring “Free” above it on the list, but only if you get the Challenge XP to level it up.
Premium does the same as that + unlocks 15 levels are so for free.
But guess what, just noticed.
180 Crom Coins will auto-unlock 1 level for you.
800 Crom Coins will auto-unlock 5 levels
1800 Crom Coins can be used to upgrade to Premium and get 15 levels (you’re still spending 3000 coins overall.
So yeah, more Mobile booster garbage to milk your wallet.
Edit: The Death Cube is a lot of fun.
Spawn 4 RHTS, level them to 20, Heavy Silent Legion gear + Star Metal Maces/Shields, standing at the four corners, one of them as my follower.
Spawn in a bunch of ostriches for the bird challenge, then dogs of the desert, and finally bears.
And just watch stuff get brutalized while you watch. And on default settings.

Correct. No scaling and absolutely no cool down on a challenge.
I will clear Craft a Tool/Weapon/Healing Item and have it show up again in 5 minutes.

I’m thinking now the best way to exploit the system is:
Clear the 70xp x10s
Save the 30/40 xp.
I got no 150xp ones at all today. So I did my three rerolls after the 70s were cleared for 1400xp.
Tomorrow I should have 3 10x backed up, which means I can do the high value stuff, save the modifiers for rolling 150xp with no modifier, and get 1500, for faster clearing.

Everytime you complete a challenge it generates a new one of the same category (common, uncomon, rare, legendary etc)
Have been doing it all day for the past two days and it has never failed to generate a new one when I complete one.

Problem is, it doesn’t always generate a Legendary at the reset.
I got none today. On a reroll I did get Dregs again. But it was 150xp with no modifier at the point, so I had no interest in it for that little amount of XP.
I’d rather save the modifiers and chain a Legendary later on.

Yeah there are some that pop up that I don’t bother with because the time taken to earn the xp is not good for me.

I built a small 5x5 arena for spawning creatures and NPCs, with 4 maxed RHTS bosses as thralls. So they chew through most stuff and easy clear those kill tasks for me.
Then it’s just a matter of port-hopping around to gather stuff, like the Crimson Lotus today.

This isn’t true.
I got Dregs after using all my rerolls today. That is a Legendary.
I cleared it.
It immediately shifted to “Gather Crimson Lotus” which is a Rare.
So you aren’t guaranteed to get Common->Common, Rare->Rare, Legendary->Legendary.

Good tip, if you are doing this via Single Player.
Use ToggleDebugHUD to get your coordinates at the Gather/Dungeons.
So you can setup TeleportPlayer to easily hop around the map.
The online map has a nasty tendency to drop you from heights or put you under the map.
So far I’ve saved Dregs, Shrine of the Oracle, and Crimson Lotus, which have commonly appeared. And plan to add more as I go.
Call me crazy, but I’m actually playing through this in Single-Player. And as I just started a new character, I don’t even have my first Map-room yet. I learned how to summon an Abyssal mount, but haven’t tried it yet. So I’m running to places.
And I’m already at level 10/60 on the Battle Pass, after 4 days out of 91, so I don’t think I’m under any pressure to start admin-cheating my way through any time soon. But everyone plays their own way, of course. That’s the great thing about Single-Player.
I’m also trying not to complete the Pass too quickly, of Funcom will decide the challenges are too easy and the next Pass will be a lot harder to complete.

No pressure, no. I’m just doing it because I’m not in the mood to devote more time to Conan right now.
I have my Island in XIV that I’m working with, and helping others with the mechanics on it.
So I have no real qualms about cheating to clear daily challenges for a little while when I first start gaming for the day, before moving on to another game.
But I also started a new save/world. Eventually when the mods work, I’ll have the one that allows multiple characters per save and I can start one to play legitimately.
I don’t think they’ll do this. What is too easy for some, may not be too busy for others. So they can’t exactly make it harder and alienate lesser players. We might see more varied challenges, but I don’t think we’ll get anything more difficult than has already been seen.
Of course, it’s all about strategy as well. Clearing only Rare/Legendary challenges with 10x modifiers and not using them on the cheaper value ones, also goes a long way to increasing your rank while decreasing the effort involved.
