well, at that point you may as well say “i paid for this game. let me just have max level and all the best end game equipment that i paid for. why should i have to work for it?”
i understand both sides of the argument. part of me hates hitting cap and having to wait, and the other part of me understands the the xp cap, but i think it could of been implemented better. let me explain:
crafting arrows yields a fast and great amount of xp for a cheap cost. if you could just farm thousands of iron, or even bone, for an hour or 2, and then set up 5 crafting benches and just have them crank out arrows while you afk the battlepass would be cleared extremely fast. you get even crazier xp from star metal arrows. this is why the cap is there.
i think it should be implemented a little differently though. the way i think it should of worked is each activity has a 24 hour cap. you can earn 9000 xp from crafting, 9000 xp from gathering resources, and 9000 xp from killing enemies. 27000 experience a day for essentially playing three core aspects of the game.
if 27000 experience a day is too much, then perhaps lower the experience from each a bit. each activity caps at 6000 experience, making for a total of 18000 possible experience every 24 hours. its still not too much to where it will go too quick, but still double of the original cap. hell even if it was 5000 per activity for a total of 15000 a day that wouldnt be bad either.
