Bazaar prices going up!

I had not, previously, included dates. Originally, it was just a personal reference item. I moved it to Google Sheets when folks requested access.

I will update to include dates at the far columns.

Column D-H are the weighted value of a crime coin based on the level they are purchased. Column J -aN is the US dollar cost, based on the weighted CC cost.

Alright, thank you very much.
It would be so helpful.

A crime coin… A crime… coin…

Thank you, I understand now.
I do not use the $ value at all, but it makes sense somehow. I can roughly calculate the equivalent in € based on your number. We also pay the fees to change the currency from $ to € when we pay I believe? So I should add some more again.

Are the columns P to S the raise of price compared to the first time?

Inadvertent due to mobile.

But apt enough to leave unedited.

They are the Canadian dollar Cost, due to a request from a friend. I can do the same with Euros, with the understanding that the exchange rate may lag due to me forgetting about it.

Come to think of it, it might be better just to have a base sheet with Crom Coin cost and tabs for the different currencies. I will go ahead and work on that change, it will declutter the presentation

Ideally, I would make this a web based DB, but then I’d have to pay to host it and, well, I don’t want to.

Selling a cosmetic at the same price as a full game is pure greed and has nothing to do with inflation. These companies deserve what’s coming to them.

Nice find. That would be probably be seen as illegal marketing in some jurisdiction.

To own the truth of it, this one considered the cost and then noticed a whole @$$ V Rising for sale at a lower rate… With a couple of friends already playing…

There are a few licenses i definitely would like to see go back to their respective owners for reissuing to better companies.
I’d rather see some games die and go to a better set of devs than to watch them rot and die slowly over time due to greed and incompetence.

That corin set is crazy not to mention the feast set is just plain nuts.
I have always said in the various f2p games i have played over the years, they would be better off pricing reasonable to get the 1000’s of people who would buy rather than trying to aim for a 100 whales.

If the prices were better even more casual players would be more willing to spend money, with this crap, and it is crap… they have to depend solely on their whales spending to make any money.

Yes, it would. It would send the message that they need to hear. No more money if you keep doing the bad things.

I really had no issue with them doing cosmetic DLC packs, and I bought all but one of them. Would have picked up that last one if they hadn’t added the predatory mtx to the game… and will pick up that last one if they do the right things going forward - which is extremely unlikely but if they want MY money that’s what they need to do.

Catering to consoles is actually part of what’s killing this game to begin with… that’s why we’ve had some of the really bad changes lately, but I wouldn’t even want the console players to lose out so they can keep all the mtx and other crap on the console versions if it’s necessary to keep the game alive for y’all, and give the PC players back our game.

It was set up as a “good deal” because it was a marketing trap. You fell for the trap if you bought it. And it was only a “good” price if you could grind through it far enough to buy the next one with in game currency. If you didn’t you had to pay again.

No, that ship has not sailed. There’s still time - but that time is dwindling.

can you confirm if the flamboyant feast bundle was at some point at 1100 CC? please? or was it edited?

I bought croms specifically to get the battle pass; you know I love structure. I was usually impressed with the content because most game’s pass content is just reskins. Most all the battle pass content was fresh content.

I honestly didn’t see how they could continue to crank out content of that quality consistently, for free. Because, in the end, I still have all the croms I bought for the age of sorcery.

I miss the battle pass, like to see it come back as a croms for finishing challenges thing. Maybe toss in some arcane potions and siege bolders; which I have no use for but some one might.

Then drop the bazaar prices so more people can come up 25 croms short and have to buy 500

Still wouldn’t shop there, would McDuck the croms though

My records only show the price of 1794 and the new price of 1932. I cannot confirm the 1100 price. The original screencap indicates it was, but this does not show the details, so we cannot tell if it is a partial price or a placeholder price:

What was the CC price for the Pictish Rites set?

LOL. The prices are placeholder. What this REALLY means is that they put those MASSIVE prices on there to see how people would react. To see if they could get away with insane prices for the Bazaar items.

autocorrect is becoming sentient and starting to inject its own opinions

Definitely not defending the Bazaar prices here, but the Bazaar was introduced with Age of Sorcery which released on September 1st, 2022 - so the Flamboyant Feasts set could have never been sold in the Bazaar in July 2022.

I presume this screenshot must have been from an early Dev Stream where the Bazaar still had placeholder prices which were finalized (aka sadly increased) when the Bazaar made its debut in game.

Regarding content creators showcasing Bazaar (or any paid) content - I’d say being able to see items in the game, being able to judge size, potential functionality, dye options, etc. is a great way for anyone to make a better informed purchase decision.
