This brings up a question; do your totals include other spending? For example, does it include server rentals and time spent? As an aside, my wife told me once that her and her friends at her first job used to take what they made in a 1 week period and divided by their weight to see what kind of meat they were the equivalent to in the store (she’s small so her meat equivalent is always a bit better but its difficult for most to be worth more than hamburger).

I would say its obvious to exclude playing the game, but what about modding? It certainly appears that to some its more work than fun… so in that context, does that make bazaar prices more or less objectionable?

I spend so much of my total life engaged with the game, making mods now, paying for a rig capable of making maps without having enormous amounts of cook time, paying for a home server that kicks the pants off anything hosted, etc, that maybe the reason the bazaar prices dont offend me is that its because compared to all those things, it just doesnt seem like that much.

I guess my point is, a lot of people consider spending money in the bazaar as frivolous, but how much of what we do in game/here in the forum/making mods could not also be considered frivolous by the same standard.
