# BETA - Sort preferences in benches and storage randomly default to No Sort

> 1. Set sort in benches and containers to preference other than No Sort; for me Heaviest First
> 2. It appears that after a server reset, on occasion some sort settings will change on their own to No Sort

> I’ve been watching this happen for weeks, at first I thought maybe it’s because as I’ve developed my space, I’d forget to automatically change the sort to Heaviest First. However, this morning I went to an Improved Preservation Box that I KNOW I changed to Heaviest First (set all benches and storage to that with a mental note), I noticed it had been changed to No Sort.

> ALL benches and storage are affected by this, not specific ones. This is random, it will not reliably reproduce.
