Black Ice Rock Nose

I just ran into the Black Ice variant of the Rock Nose. After killing the creature I was unable to harvest it corpse for any resources. I used a hardened steel pick. I did notice that my pick’s durability was going down though.

Do I need a better pick than this to harvest the Black Ice Rock Nose corpses?

I play Single-player with no mods.

It’s the same for Wildlife_Siptah_HornedGiant or Wildlife_Siptah_HornedGiantAlpha.
