Hello everybody. Can someone suggest if there is a limit on the quantity of blocks?
If everything goes according to the rules with the land claim that is no “kilometers” of building around but at the same time player will have a large quantity of blocks, 20k for example, because decided to build “fat” base walls with many layers. In “Official Server Building Restrictions” any word about quantity limits.
Perhaps someone knows where you can get an official explanation from the Funcom on this issue, and in which section you need to write for this. Grate thanks.

When you log into a Official server it gives a link to server rules. There is also a link here in Forum however Funcom doesn’t give a specific quantity of foundation’s you can have. Players have asked for less vague rules. @sunsea_cn good luck Exile

There is no block limit, build how ever you like, not like funcom actually enforces the ToC on PVE.
Not even sure why we have a ToC, whats the point of rules when you don’t enforce them.

No block limit due to foundations are not the concern but how they are used in the game (are you enjoying the building aspects of the game or just being a jerk and hoarding real estate?)
They don’t provide a limit because it limits creativity. I have yet to be enforced on and I believe that this is because you can tell by the way I build and where I build that I take into consideration other players. I only create small outposts with minimal footprints in popular areas (Sepermeru,Savannah, around obelisks, etc) while I expand out in areas that no one ever builds in (every biome has dead space that just isn’t built on for some reason or another)
Also how you furnish your castle plays an important part. Laggy bases can be enforced on so the amount of doors, torches, storage chests, thralls all play a significant part in that.
The easiest way to navigate the TOC is to just keep in mind you share the server with others. If that is too hard to determine what that means, perhaps officials isn’t right for you and expect to be removed. It’s fine because i don’t do private servers because I don’t trust the admins that play and that is like 95-99% of all privates so i simply just don’t do them. If you have a similar distrust in official moderation, then it makes sense to not play in them.

I’d say the block limit for a server before you start seeing issues is around 4-5 Million. But even then these issues would be minor. It also assumes the entire server.
There’s no real ‘block limit’ for an individual unless a server rule actually says one. There’s a practical limit in that it would take a player an inordinate amount of time just to farm the mats and place the blocks, and another practical limit in how much space one can build in.
In this example you would not likely get hemmed up for a 20k base unless there is just tons and tons of unused useless space. The restrictions given by official sources indicates that the space taken up needs to be used. But most of this really only assumes 2 dimensions. Which is where many players tend to get hemmed up when they run afoul. Taking up pace over a large area on the flat plane takes up space others cannot use, and has a higher likelihood of despawning more NPCs and nodes that it doesn’t need to. Meanwhile building relatively small in the cardinal directions but focusing on building up and tall gives a player more square footage to work with in a much more efficient way.
20k building pieces in a small area, but built very tall is not going to cause any issues for other players. But 10k built in a single layer of foundations over an area would likely get you banned.
