Couple of clarifications:
- You can’t buy silver and gold rocknose eggs. You can only buy normal rocknose eggs and then put the correct kind of food in the animal pen in order to get a chance to get gold- and silver-veined rocknoses. The best foods are outlined on the wiki. (Don’t forget to click “Show” to see the table)
- The gold- and silver-veined rocknoses are a good long-term supplemental source of gold and silver, but they won’t help you “get rich quick”. They still crap out mostly ironstone, and some gold or silver ore. I currently have 5 of each and I swap them out in my pen to keep a steady, but slow influx of both gold and silver.
- If you want to mine gold, you need to go to the volcano and mine obsidian. You’ll get a small amount of gold ore as a byproduct of mining.
- There are chests inside the Unnamed City where you can get gold and silver, coins and bars.
- There are even more chests in the jungle, containing gold and silver, coins and bars. They are underwater. A number of them can be found in the area around the capsized ship in Buccaneer Bay. Others are spread around and can be found around shipwrecks: N5, O5, O6 and I forget whether it’s M7 or N7.
Well that sucks,I don’t understand why Funcom would expect you to have 75 alchemal base to build your map room and not have not have an easy ,convienent way of figuring out how to do it.Even the silver mine doesn’t net a wealth of silverstone.Dude I worked my fingers to the bone last year during the Halloween event.My biggest character is on my mom’s profile.I happened log Halloween day to play.There was only two days I quit early and one day I never played,and milked that Halloween thing to death.I just know my reserves ain’t going last forever and finding bars and coins out chest way I have been doing so far just don’t cut it.I also have new character on my profile that’s going to have deal with this too,that is if I keep working on it,its about level 33 or 34.You probably already know this you seem well informed but those bearer packs they drop now will ocassionaly yield alchemal base if your really lucky.So unamed city or out by the jungle is best bet for me?I have alot to learn and alot of work to do ever make it to that volcano.I get mad at it sometimes and need time away.I just started playing again.They came out with 2 dlcs and was ready to release another LOL since last time sat down and played Conan exiles.Hope the staff don’t mad me saying this but it’s a Love and hate relationship with the game.bless you dude for your help.I guess that guy was lieing when he bought them for5gp from a vendor.I not sure where I found that vendor that sold rocknose eggs was at, I been out looking for it despite the game cashing and all.
I know 75 base seems like a lot but it’s pretty easy. The ingredients for 1 alchemical base are 1 gold dust, 2 silver dust and 2 ichor. With a T3 alchemist, those requirements all drop to 1. Keep this in mind for the rest of this post.
Now, I can recall the locations of 9 chests in the Unnamed City right off the top of my head. There are more chests than that, but those are the 9 that I can recite at any time. Likewise, the Buccaneer Area has 8 chests that I can recall easily.
A single chest typically yields several coins and/or a couple of bars. For example, it’s not atypical to open a chest and find 2 silver bars and 7 gold coins.
One coin yields 2 dust, one bar yields 10 dust. In the example I gave above, you would get 20 silver dust and 14 gold dust from just one chest. I’ll be lazy and just pull an average out of my nethers, so let’s say you can get something like 8 gold dust and 8 silver dust from a chest on average. With a T3 alchemist – which are plentiful – you would need only 10 chests to gather enough dust for the alchemical base you need for the map.
In short, gold and silver are really not hard to farm.
If you want to feel farming pains in Conan, go for hardened bricks and steel reinforcements…

That sounds scary and worrying. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but I do hope I misunderstood and I wish you the best, from the depth of my heart. 
Conan is complicated and hard to learn and figure out and I’m getting old and body is failing me.I’m not to happy with my life to start with.I would love to learn more about the game and make better progress at figuring it out.I’ve smoked for almost 26 years now which is bad for your health and have diabetes bad.My heart has being doing weird stuff and I’m afraid I’ll just go into cardiac arrest and kill over.My recent EKG came back abnormal and scheduled to see a cardiologist tomorrow and that’s just some of the stuff that’s wrong with me.I would like to make the most of the game and the dlc’s I bought and get more achievements and make more progress torward reaching the end.I know there are tons of stuff to learn and do.I would like to accomplish more than what I have been doing before it’s gamed over for me,because I’m uncertain how long my body will keep holding out.I am miserable and not to happy of a person.I played and used dupe my little sister at the original Atari Pong,been playing video games my whole life.So have fun and game ON!!!
