The shield smashing Bonebreaker Mace (ID:24049) and Bonebreaker Mace (Epic) (ID:24193) is working as a one-handed short sword with the short sword stab animation and comes as an Agility Weapon.
But it is clearly described as a mace/club, so I guess it has to be a one-handed mace with mace animation and become a strength weapon.
On the other hand, the Deceiver (ID:24026) and Deceiver (Epic) (ID:24170) clearly described as a sword, but is accidentally a one-handed mace with mace animation and is a strength weapon. Here it should be the other way around. Becoming a short sword with its animation and an agility weapon.
I already know what Deceiver means, but nothing in the ingame description indicates that it is anything other than a sword.
“They stopped short. Conan faced them, not a naked man roused mazed and unarmed out of deep sleep to be butchered like a sheep, but a barbarian wide-awake and at bay, partly armored, and with his long sword in his hand.„ ~ The Phoenix on the Sword
Longsword has become a catch-all phrase for the mongrel swords of a thousand different makes that don’t align easily with one simple classification. The only description of a longsword that seems to be agreed upon is that they are double-bladed and straight. Beyond that they vary wildly from grooved blades to smooth blades, long hilts to short hilts, one-handed and two-handed variations.
But I don’t have to decide that, I’m just reporting the inconsistencies I noticed.
