Then after a while, I log in again, and sometimes I can log into the game, and sometimes the locations keep loading forever. There are no problems with the internet or PC. It’s something with the servers. Because I see players in the location. What is this? IS IT FIXED?
I think i have only got that message when the game still thinks i am logged in after a crash and i need to close the game completely, including steam. Making sure it is not still running via ctrl+alt+del
And closing the program from there too if it is still running.
I saw this in another thread about that error code.
Another had suggested to try and use a VPN to connect with.
This seemed to have success in logging back in.
Also this - I know it says conan, but the problem could be similar.
Just look for “Secret World Legends” folder in SteamApps and see if you can run either the .exe or the DX10.exe versions from there.
Maybe also look through the search list of the same error, something might help.

Their character is indeed a bit glued to the server. They can try to punt the character offline by attempting to log into an alt, or wait for a server restart to clear them out.
Interesting, many people get stuck with fake online status, but it usually doesn’t get in the way of relogging back again.
From the description I can’t understand whether the problem is reoccurring, happens once or whether it’s even possible to log in at all.
Seeing as it’s a steam client, if there’s no 2nd character on the problem account, I’d try making another account just to verify whether the issue is with the account itself or some kind of connection failure between client and server that would repeat on fresh account.
I’d also try renaming “C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Funcom” Folder just to temporarily clear config just in case.
P.S. You can check how stable connection to the server is by pinging gs033-nj4.secretworld.com. It is the actual game server, not the authorisation one. If you sometimes manage to log into the game but then get frozen on loading screen that means that connection gets interrupted for some reason.
