BUG player summoned Surges : T4 crafters Bugs and Suggestions

Feedback, : surges are way too linear : always the same regardless of faction . here is how it currently goes regarless of altar being used:

  1. first wave, chance for a t4 fighter /archer./bearer
  2. second wave , crafter t4s all of them except for armorer and blacksmiths .
  3. wave 3 , crafters t4s, only t4 armorers and blacksmiths .
  4. wave 4 , priest , dancer, 5
  5. wave 5 , 3 skull boss, (most dont drop legfendary weapons , (use something different than the loot table for skeleton key chest please)

i am going to start saying that surges are missing a lot of T4 crafters that are already on file (all of them should be available for t4 surges . but they are not spawning.

LIST of thralls not spawning by faction :

AESIR :

Askra the woodworker (does not spawn) carp
Doria the whipper (does not spawn) taskmaster
Gh’ordon the chef (does SPAWN) cook
gunnar the smith (does not spawn) blacksmith
hamar the carpenter (does not spawn) carpenter
Harald the white (does not spawn) alchemist
hragn mad-with fume (does not spawn) alchemist
karl smallwood the taskmaster (does not spawn ) (taskmaster)
kavara of the hides (does not spawn) (tanner)
lodrik the tanner (does not spwan) (tanner)
morena master armorer (does not spawn) armorer
Olve the chef (DOES SPAWN) Cook
pitre master armorer (does not spawn) armorer
smelter ultann (DOES SPAWN) smelter
Ulva of the north blacksmith (Does not spawn)
Varia of the furnace (DOES SPAWN) (smelter )

In the north only WAVE 2 can bring the cook and smelter, wave 3 only brings armorers and blackmisths, so if you dont see a t4 crafter in wave 2, you aint going to be seeing a t4 crafter in that surge.

north east : will be added later today
east : will be added later today
west : will be added later today
south : will be added later today
Center will be added later today.

Suggestion: make the surges variable for areas : for instance NOrth has a chance to spawn , vanir, cimmerian , aesir , even animal surges , mixed with humans, to make it much more varied, each of them with their own t4s (exiles has plenty and will make sense to bring those from surges into siptah. make them variable,

LOWEr the chance of T4 archers and fighters, they are just way to common.
and allow a chance to spawn t4 crafter in each wave. the stronger the chaos used increases the chance for T4s spawns.

T1 surges : very small chance of getting a t4 thrall
t2 surges : small chance of getting a t4 thrall
t3 surges : small mediun chance of t4 thralls
t4 surges : mediun / high chance of t4 thralls.

i will be populating this with more missing t4s (the vast majority of those listed does not spawn at all) and need attention, this is END GAME CONTENT, so please make it interesting.

Seconded. Right now T1 surges’ only point is getting essences for shrines, and T2 and T3 surges have no point at all unless you really want a particular crafter look for purely decorative reasons. They had some point (though not much) until T2s and T3s were added to wild surges, but when wild surges were changed they were not.

Personally, my inclination would be to give:

  • T1 surges a small chance of 1 T4 crafter and 1 T4 combatant in the final wave (~10% of each)
  • T2 surges a small chance of 1 T4 crafters and combatants per wave (~10% of each per wave; overall, 41% per type to get at least one per surge)
  • T3 surges a moderate chance of 1 T4 crafter and combatants per wave (~20% of each per wave; overall, 67% per type to get at least one per surge)
  • T4 surges a moderate chance of 1 T4 crafters and 1-2 combatants per wave, to include purge-tier thralls (~25% of each per wave; overall, 77% to get at least one crafter per surge; ~94% to get at least one combatant)
  • T4 surges: possibly also a moderate chance per wave to replace that wave with a calamity surge wave (20%?), as of now, no one will ever see calamity surges.

(I’d also be inclined to add T4s to all factions so there’s more varied crafter looks, but if the devs don’t want that having the spawned T4s come from the current T4 surges would still be an improvement over the status quo)

The surge system is to receive a major change in the near future as we continue the Early Access period of Isle of Siptah. Since we can’t get into details yet, we can only say most of this feedback will be addressed in one way or another in a future major update.
