Clean testlive installed no mods or changes.
Call Lightning is more likely to hit random trees nearby or your own thrall than hit hostile targets and does almost no damage to hostile targets.
I’ve tested a couple of times. It does seem rather random. The thing I don’t like is the spell seems to go right thru peoples bases so I see this being used to grief.
What I noticed is that the lightning unironically always strikes in the same spots so if your target is not in one of those spots then it misses them. The lightning spell is one of those spells that sounds great in theory, looks cool on screen but just doesnt really deliver much.

Sadly yes I agree and unless its changed it wont be used by anyone other than griefers.
