Bug - Stuck climbing pole, had to suicide character

When trying to sneakily climb into The Den (southern entrance) my character got stuck on one of the large vertical scaffolding poles and couldn’t jump off or climb any more. I could only sort of wiggle around. I had to remove the bracelet to suicide my character.

I wouldn’t have bothered to mention such a minor geometry bug, except that after I succeeded in travelling back and reclaiming my gear, I tried to climb up a different pole and immediately got perma-stuck again.

I gave up climbing in that area of the game…

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Attempt to climb up one of the large scaffolding poles outside the southern entrance to ‘The Den’, only a few metres from where an entertainer thrall spawns by a fire.
  2. Become stuck, unable to climb further in any direction and unable to jump down.

Yep, got myself stuck in the den climbing aroundtoo once, had to bracelt kill me.
That isn’t even a minor bug, its big, cause having to kill yourself can have major implications, depending on what you have with you, and how fast you can get there again.

Even minor bugs are always worth reporting.

Confirmed.

It also happens with Darfari Banners at the edge of a square roof. Can be a serious problem.

You’re right, and I shouldn’t assume that something that appears minor doesn’t actually have serious implications, or might point the developers in the direction of a bigger problem in their code etc…
