Camping Dungeons breaks isle of siptah

So, I don’t know if they think this is funny if intended or if it’s just bad design. People on the server I play just started camping the vaults entrance/exit and killing people in loadingscreen.

You get a very clear and easy indicator precisely when someone goes to challenge the boss, the door locks, so u know he’s coming out very soon.

On a map like this where basicly the dungeons is the go to spot to farm

  • why isn’t there at least entrance and exit separated?

-why is there no immunity in loadingscreen, just make it 5 seconds with 5minute cooldown.
(This is a really big oof, should think they learned from exiled lands… )

The way it is right now is just ez game for grievers that’s why currently most servers die

Agreed. There are multiple design flaws in the new features they put into Isle of Siptah. It’s like they didn’t even think about how players would play the game in PvP mode.

Okay, but it takes a lot of resource farming, and we’re limiting you to these locations, and a global map icon will show during your event, so everyone on the server can see when it is going on, and come running to you.

Yeah 90% of the complaints I’ve heard are “siptah is bad because it’s a pvp map” but I can tell you with 100% certainty that pvp’ers aren’t liking it either, myself included. Seems like nearly every single instance where they attempted to “encourage pvp” creates situations like yours where the game just sets you up to get ganked in a way that is super unsatisfying.

Convergence traps, which are largely a waste of time, still mark your location on the map… I don’t know who at funcom HQ thinks slapping an icon on someone’s head every time they try to interact with the core mechanic of the map would ever be a good idea.
